What Makes Me Qualified?
Origin & Education:
Drew grew up in the town of Huachuca City in southern Arizona where he spent most of his childhood in Tucson playing football. Drew went on to attend Pima Community College where he played football (earning a scholarship his second year), and coached for an additional two years. After finishing his community college prerequisites, Drew graduated from Arizona State University in 2015 with a Bachelors in Exercise and Wellness with a focus on health promotion and population health management. In 2016 Drew became a certified Corporate Fitness Specialist and embarked on his career in workplace fitness and wellness.
Family Life & Personal Journal:
Drew’s parents were in high school when he was born and split ways a few years later. He now has four brothers (one from mom’s side and three from dad’s side), ranging from 15-20 years apart in age. Drew gets his ambition and drive from a deep desire to show his brothers what’s possible in this life. He also dreams of creating a family legacy that includes healthy living, education, and affluence.
With a family history of poor health, Drew focuses on consistent physical activity and nutritious meal choices that support his fitness goals. Drew made the change for himself in 2012 and works daily to maintain a healthy lifestyle while following his drive to deploy organizational wellbeing in a digestible way that makes an impact for those he serves.
Professional Highlights:
Drew spent his college years working afternoon and night shifts in hostility working for Eegee’s, Domino’s Pizza, Fuku Sushi, Frog N Ferkin, Four Peaks Brewery, and Upward Projects (an AZ based restaurant group). His experience working with people and serving professionals motivated him to start a business of his own. In 2015 Drew started Team Up Health & Fitness to help people improve their life through health and fitness.
Since starting Team Up, Drew has worked with the following organizations; Gila River Resorts and Casinos, Cutter Aviation, PRO EM Event Management, Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club, Mesa Public Schools, Cox Communications, The Town of Gilbert, The City of Goodyear, Welocalize, and First Advantage.
